Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle, non-invasive healing technique that supports relaxation, balance, and well-being. It’s based on the idea that everything has energy — and when that energy is calm and flowing, we feel better, more grounded, and more at peace.
Reiki helps soften stress, ease tension, and create space for healing — physically, emotionally, and energetically.

The core energy is the same — but Animal Reiki is offered to the animal, not done to them. It’s all about respect, choice, and deep listening.
I don't place hands on the animal unless they initiate it. I simply create a calm, safe energetic space, and they choose how to engage. Some animals come close. Others observe from a distance. It’s all perfect.
They’re incredibly intuitive — they know exactly what they need.

Great question — and the answer is actually very simple.
I enter a calm, meditative state and gently invite the animal into a shared space of peace and balance. There’s no pressure. No forcing. Just openness, connection, and trust.
This can happen in person or remotely (yes, Reiki works from a distance too — energy isn’t bound by location!).

Everything in nature — including us and our animals — is made of energy. When that energy gets blocked, stressed, or thrown off balance, it can show up as tension, anxiety, discomfort, or disconnection.
Reiki supports the natural flow of energy again — helping the body and spirit come back into alignment.
Think of it like clearing static from a radio so the signal can come through clearly again.

Most people and pets feel calmer, more peaceful, or more emotionally balanced — sometimes right away, and sometimes gradually over time.
Every animal is different. Some fall asleep, some shift position, and some simply soften or breathe differently. It’s subtle, but powerful.
You might notice your pet being more affectionate, more relaxed, or less reactive. Sometimes healing is energetic. Other times, it shows up in unexpected ways — trust that the energy goes where it’s most needed.

I primarily work with dogs, but Reiki is gentle and supportive for all animals — including cats, horses, birds, and even rescues with trauma histories.
- 07
Not at all. In fact, I follow a respectful approach where the animal chooses whether or not to come close. Reiki is offered, not forced — and the connection works beautifully even from across the room (or across the country!).
- 08
Each session is quiet, gentle, and led by the animal. I may sit nearby, enter a meditative state, and hold space while your pet relaxes. You may notice yawning, sighing, stretching, or just a deep sense of calm.
For remote sessions, I’ll send you a message afterward sharing anything I observed or sensed during the experience.
- 09
Typically, sessions last around 30–45 minutes, but the animal decides. Some are ready to receive for a long time, others just want a short dose of energy — and that’s okay. I honor their needs and rhythms.
- 10
Reiki isn’t a replacement for training or medical care, but it can support emotional balance and stress release — which often helps with things like separation anxiety, trauma recovery, or general nervousness.
- 11
Reiki is not a religion and doesn’t require any belief system. It’s simply a practice of calm connection, energetic support, and deep respect — rooted in love and compassion.
- 12
Some animals benefit from one session, others from a series — especially if they’re dealing with long-term stress, grief, or health changes. I always trust the animal to guide the process.

Yes — in fact, I encourage it if you’re curious or want to connect more deeply with your pet’s energy. Your calm presence can enhance the experience, especially in-person.
